Supply Chain Assistant Analyst (3rd Parties & QFS Support) - French Speaker [Egypt]


 

Overview:
This role is responsible for both managing project implementation on packaging materials, as well as supporting the administrative regulatory needs of the business (Quality food safety). Besides supporting the QFS teams in delivery of the enterprise quality management process, you will also interact with operational planning teams and the peer KBS project manager as they introduce new packaging solutions. The role will interact across internal and external staleholders e.g. 3PL and packaging suppliers in development and maintenance of the programs ensuring all parties have the relevant information to succeed.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as an intermediary between suppliers (printers, production sites) and marketing for the implementation of new packaging.
  • Follow up and process cost/quotes related to packaging developments.
  • Initiate the creation of a packaging database.
  • Verify, update and validate the logistics data for new packaging.
  • Liaise with the Production Planning team to ensure the availability of new packaging on site on time and alert in case of delay.
  • Manage the products database and the technical plans.
  • Update KPIs and monitor the performance of the packaging suppliers.
  • Implement corrective actions on identified quality problems.
  • Ongoing 3rd party management including managing day-to-day requests, managing communication of quality standards and requirements, onboarding of new partnerships, contract updates, etc.
  • Maintaining audit calendars, EQMS (Enterprise Quality Management System), as well as a database of non-conformities and resolution plans.
  • Management of 3rd party web portal for maintaining coman profiles and warehouse details along with resolving issues.
  • Financial management including updating and implementing cost cards, managing invoicing, creating and updating COGS and BOMs.
Qualifications:
  • 0-1 years of experience
  • Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken C1)
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management experience with both internal and external customers working within FMCG operational environment
  • Demonstrated project management / project engineering experience running projects within an FMCG environment.
  • Experience defining programs requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
  • Financial skills – basic cost accounting and ability to build cost cards
  • Familiarity with quality standards and requirements and infrastructure (EU& local level) – willingness to learn and undertake introductory training in the Pepsico Quality systems
  • Working Knowledge of MRP required (pref. SAP)
  • Excel & Office package knowledge mandatory
